1984

Pynchon is interested in Orwell. He wrote an Introduction to Nineteen Eighty-Four, set Vineland in that year and published his collection of early stories, Slow Learner, in 1984. That said, posing with Pynchon in the Big Brother diary room chair might be taking things a little far. Well, Jane Byford didn’t think so…
